If you are a returning user of the Mode Earn App, the app remembers your previous login method and simplifies access. This article walks through each sign-in path depending on how you originally registered.
Returning user — Google sign-in
- Launch the Mode Earn App on your device.
- If a previous Google sign-in is detected, the app suggests this option.
- Select your Google account from the list (or enter your Google credentials if not already signed in).
- You are signed in.
Returning user — email sign-in
- Launch the Mode Earn App.
- If a previous email sign-in is detected, the app pre-fills the Email Address field.
- Enter your current password.
- Tap Continue to sign in.
Forgot your password?
- Tap Forgot Password.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to receive a password reset email.
- Reset your password and sign in.
For full details, see How to Resolve Login Issues in the Mode Earn App.
Returning user — phone sign-in (US users, if available)
- Launch the Mode Earn App.
- If a previous phone sign-in is detected, the app suggests this option and pre-fills your phone number.
- Tap Continue to receive a one-time password (OTP) via SMS.
- Enter the OTP code from the SMS.
- Tap Verify to complete sign-in.
If you do not receive the OTP, see Phone Verification Troubleshooting in the Mode Earn App.
If the app does not recognize your previous sign-in
If the app does not suggest a previous sign-in method (for example, you reinstalled the app or are signing in on a new device):
- Use the same sign-in method you originally registered with (Google, Email, or Phone).
- If you try a different method and see “Email Already in Use,” that confirms your account exists — switch to the correct method. See Resolving “Email Already in Use” Messages.
Signing in on a new device
Frequent device switching can trigger fraud prevention. If you need to sign in on a new device:
- Ideally, log out of the app on your old device first.
- Install the Mode Earn App on the new device.
- Sign in using your original credentials.
If your account is temporarily disabled after switching, see Troubleshooting Temporarily Disabled Accounts.
