This article covers the warranty terms for your Mode Earn Phone — coverage duration, what’s covered, what isn’t, and how to request warranty service.
Warranty coverage at a glance
- Handset warranty: 12 months from the date of delivery.
- Battery warranty: 6 months from the date of delivery.
Both warranties start on the day your phone is delivered, not the day you open the package or first use the device. Keep your purchase confirmation or shipping confirmation email as proof of delivery date.
What’s covered
The Mode Earn Phone warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use — things like:
- Manufacturing defects that cause the phone to malfunction.
- Hardware component failures not caused by misuse.
- Battery defects within the 6-month battery warranty period.
What’s NOT covered (warranty exclusions)
The Mode Earn Phone warranty does not cover issues arising from:
- Improper use or misuse: defects or damage from improper handling.
- Accidental damage: drops, impacts, crushed screens, or other accidents.
- Environmental exposure: damage from sand, dirt, moisture, water, or damp environments. The Mode Earn Phone is not waterproof.
- Altered serial numbers: devices with missing, altered, or defaced serial numbers or IMEI.
- Unofficial accessories: damage caused by chargers, cables, or accessories not approved by Mode.
- Viruses or software issues: problems caused by malware, viruses, or software malfunctions from apps you installed.
- Custom firmware or modifications: defects caused by unofficial firmware, rooting, or other device modifications.
- Normal wear and tear: cosmetic damage like scratches on the screen or back housing from everyday use.

How to request warranty service
- Send an email to
earn@modemobile.com. - In the email, include:
- Device details: Mode Earn Phone model (MEP2), IMEI number (Settings → About Phone).
- Purchase information: order number, purchase date, where you purchased (Mode website, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy).
- Issue description: what’s wrong, when it started, steps you’ve already tried.
- Photos or video of the issue if visible.
- Mode’s support team reviews and responds with next steps.
What to expect during warranty service
- Support may ask for additional information or troubleshooting before approving a warranty claim.
- If the claim is approved, Mode will coordinate a replacement or repair.
- You may be asked to return the defective device before receiving a replacement.
- Turnaround times vary but are typically 1–3 weeks.
