The Redeem tab shows all the rewards available to you based on your region. This article covers what types of redemptions exist, why options vary by country, and how to stay informed about new options.
Types of redemptions
The Mode Earn App offers several categories of rewards. Not all are available in every region.
PayPal payouts
Direct cash payout to your linked PayPal account. Currently the only direct-money redemption option. See How to Link Your PayPal Account in the Mode Earn App.
Prepaid gift cards
Retailer gift cards including:

- Prepaid Mastercard — see How to Claim & Use Your Prepaid Mastercard.
- Other regional gift cards — available where supported by partner networks.
Mystery Boxes
Crypto rewards in the form of $EARNM tokens. Mystery Boxes reveal random amounts of $EARNM across different rarity tiers.
Mode Mobile Shares
Equity in Mode Mobile — you can redeem points for shares. See Mode Mobile Shares FAQs for how shares work, what you can do with them, and important legal notes.
Periodic additional rewards
Special redemption options appear from time to time — seasonal promotions, partner offerings, or limited-time rewards.
Why options vary by country
Redemption availability is shaped by partnerships with payout providers:
- Some options (PayPal, specific gift card retailers) are only available where the payout partner operates.
- Regulations differ by country, which affects what rewards Mode can offer.
- Partners roll out new regions gradually.
If a popular reward is missing from your Redeem tab, it typically means the payout partner does not yet serve your country. Mode actively works to expand international availability.
How to stay updated
- Check the Redeem tab regularly. New options appear here when they become available.
- Keep push notifications enabled. Mode sends notifications when new redemption options launch in your region.
- Patience helps. International expansion takes time, but new options are being added regularly.
