If an offer shows as Completed but the points didn't credit to your account, this article walks through how to verify what happened, who to contact, and how to escalate if needed.
First: figure out who to contact
When something goes wrong with an offer, the first question is whose system is causing the problem. Some issues are handled by Mode; others can only be handled by the advertiser.
| Your situation | Who to contact |
|---|---|
| Can't sign up for the advertiser's service | Advertiser |
| Can't complete a step inside the advertiser's app or website | Advertiser |
| The advertiser's form is rejecting your info | Advertiser |
| Offer status stuck at Pending beyond 60 days | Mode Support |
| Offer shows Completed but points never arrived | Mode Support |
| Mode Earn App crashes or won't load offers | Mode Support |
| Points amount looks wrong on a completed offer | Mode Support |
When to contact the advertiser
If your problem happens inside the advertiser's own app, website, or signup form, only the advertiser can fix it — Mode doesn't have access to another company's systems or user data.
The advertiser's support contact is usually:
- On their website (look for "Contact" or "Help").
- Inside their app's Settings menu.
- On the offer details page in the Mode Earn App, if provided.
When to contact Mode Support: missing points workflow
If the offer shows as Completed but points didn't credit, follow these steps before reaching out:
Step 1: Check your point history
- Open the Mode Earn App.
- Tap your point balance in the earning header at the top.
- Your point history displays, including recent transactions.
- Scroll to find the offer in question.
Point history is the authoritative record. If the offer is listed with the correct points, they're in your balance even if the total looks off (it may include expired points, redemptions, etc.).
Step 2: Verify the offer really is Completed
Occasionally offers show as "done" from the user's side but are still pending verification. Double-check:
- Offer status in My Activity is Completed, not Pending or In Progress.
- All required steps were completed (even optional-looking ones — some are required for crediting).
If status is still Pending, see Understanding Offer Status: Pending, Completed, and More — Pending can take up to 60 days.
Step 3: Request Support
If the offer shows as Completed but points truly are missing from your history:
- Open the Mode Earn App.
- Go to Settings → Ask for Support.
- Include the following information to speed up resolution:
- The exact offer name.
- The date you completed it.
- Confirmation that the offer status shows Completed.
- Screenshots of your Earning History and the offer details page.
A common confusion: "I did my part, why isn't Mode fixing it?"
If you completed the sign-up or action successfully but the advertiser's system didn't register it — for example, you made it past the sign-up but the offer shows In Progress instead of Pending — Mode can't force the advertiser to register the completion. We only receive a signal from the advertiser when they confirm it themselves.
In this situation, contact the advertiser first. If they confirm you completed the offer but it still isn't crediting, then contact Mode Support with that confirmation.
Non-point rewards are handled by advertisers
Some offers include additional rewards from the advertiser — account credits, free trial extensions, gift cards, and similar. These are handled directly by the advertiser, not Mode.
If you're missing a non-point reward (for example, a promised free trial wasn't applied), contact the advertiser directly using the support channels on their website or app. Mode can't issue these rewards.
