If you see a blank page when trying to start a new offer or game, the offer provider has flagged an issue with your IP address or activity — this is not a Mode Earn App bug. This article explains why and what to try.
Why this happens
Offer providers maintain their own fraud-prevention systems. Common triggers:
- High-risk IP address. Your current IP has been flagged for unusual activity, either by you or by a previous user on the same network.
- VPN use. Offers typically do not work when connected through a VPN — providers block all VPN traffic.
- Blocked IP ranges. Some providers block entire IP ranges for security reasons (e.g., commercial or data center IPs).
- Activity concerns. The provider may block access based on your past game or offer activity — not the IP itself.
How to fix it
Try 1: Switch to cellular data
Disable Wi-Fi and try starting the offer using your phone’s mobile data. Cellular IPs are less likely to be flagged than residential Wi-Fi that may have been shared with previous flagged users.
Try 2: Turn off any VPN
If you have a VPN enabled — even one running in the background — disable it completely before trying the offer. Some VPN apps stay active even when they appear off, so double-check in your phone settings.
Try 3: Connect to a different Wi-Fi network
If possible, connect to a different Wi-Fi network (home vs cafe, for example) to get a different IP address.
Important to know
- These restrictions are controlled by the offer provider, not Mode. Mode cannot bypass or override another company’s fraud-prevention blocks.
- If nothing works, the provider is preventing access and there is no workaround. Try a different offer from a different provider.
- Previous uninstalls can matter. If you installed the advertiser’s app before — even long ago — the provider may recognize you and block.
