If your Mode Earn App account is suspended, this article explains why suspensions happen, how to appeal if you believe it was in error, and what activities to avoid to prevent suspension in the first place.
How to appeal a suspended account
Step 1: Open the app
Launch the Mode Earn App. A modal appears explaining your account is suspended, with a Contact Support button.
Step 2: Tap Contact Support
Tap Contact Support to submit an appeal. You can interact with the chatbot for guidance on how to raise your appeal.
Step 3: Wait for a response
The Support team reviews your appeal and responds within 2–3 business days.
Do not submit multiple appeal requests. If an email or appeal request has already been submitted, the system automatically merges duplicate requests. Submitting extras can delay your review.
Common reasons for account suspension
To keep your account in good standing, avoid the following behaviors. Each of these can result in suspension or permanent closure.
VPN and bypass tools
Do not use VPNs or other tools to bypass location or access restrictions in the app. Mode’s rewards are offered based on where you are and what content is available in your region — using a VPN to access region-restricted rewards violates the Terms of Service.
Invite code misuse
- No public posting. Don’t post your invite code in online reviews, forums, comment sections, or public websites.
- Invite responsibly. Only invite individuals genuinely interested in using the app. Spamming invitations may result in penalties.
Device and ID rules
- Single ID per device. Use only one Mode Earn ID per device.
- Prohibited tools. IMEI changers, ID emulators, or similar tools are strictly not allowed and may result in a permanent ban.
Phone numbers and emails
- Use verified numbers. Only register with verified mobile phone numbers.
- No VoIP or unverified emails. Services like Google Voice, TextNow, and other virtual number providers are not accepted. Use a real mobile number and a real personal email.
Emulator restrictions
Using online emulators to mimic phone usage is prohibited. Rewards are for real users on real devices — emulators undermine the fairness of the system and may trigger suspension.
Other common suspension triggers
- More than 2 Mode accounts linked to a single PayPal email (see PayPal Linking Limit — What You Need to Know).
- Multiple accounts on the same device.
- Multiple accounts sharing phone numbers or IDs.
- Automated or coordinated behavior across accounts.
- Providing false or misleading information during registration or verification.
What to expect after a suspension
- You cannot log in until the appeal is reviewed.
- Your points are frozen — they remain in the account but you cannot redeem them.
- If the suspension is lifted, your account and all data are restored as before.
- If the suspension is upheld, points and account access are permanently forfeited.
