Once you start an Offer or Game in the Mode Earn App, you can monitor its status, verify eligibility, and know exactly when to expect your points. This article covers how to track progress and what each status means.
Games vs Offers: the difference
Both Games and Offers reward you with points, but they involve different types of activity:
- Games: download and play mobile games to reach specific milestones (levels, playtime, missions).
- Offers: complete tasks like signing up for a service, making a purchase, or trying an app that isn't a game.
Depending on your app version, you may see either two separate tabs ("Games" and "Offers") or a single combined tab. In the combined version, you can filter to show games only or offers only.
How to track your progress
Most Offers and Games: the My Activity tab
- Open the Mode Earn App.
- Go to Offers or Games, or tap a card from the Home screen.
- Tap My Activity to see all your current and past offers and games.
Mode sends you an email and push notification whenever an offer or game status changes.
PlayTime Games and Offers: tap the original banner
PlayTime offers are powered by our partner Adjoe and have a separate tracking flow:
- PlayTime offers do not appear in My Activity.
- To check your progress on a PlayTime offer, tap the same banner you used to start it. Progress shows directly on the Adjoe partner page.
Understanding statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| In Progress | You've started the offer or game but haven't yet finished all required steps. PlayTime offers don't show this status. |
| Pending | You've completed all steps. The advertiser is verifying completion. This usually takes up to 30 days, occasionally up to 60. |
| Expired | You started but didn't finish in the required time (typically 60 days). You receive rewards only for any staged milestones you did complete. |
| Completed | Verification is done and your points have been credited. 🎉 |
| Discontinued | The partner ended the offer early or is no longer honoring it. Outside of Mode's control. |
Eligibility requirements
Advertisers set their own rules for who qualifies for an offer. The most common requirement is:
- New user only: most offers require you to be a first-time user of the advertised app or service. Previous installations — even uninstalled ones — typically disqualify you.
Check the eligibility criteria listed at the top of each offer before you start. Review processing times vary — some confirm within hours, others take several days.
Mode Earn Club bonus
If you're a Mode Earn Club member, you automatically earn up to 100% more points on offers and games. The rewards shown on the offerwall are the final amounts with your Club bonus already applied — you don't need to calculate anything.
Best practice: do the first step, then wait
The most common source of missing points is continuing past a broken first step. After you complete the first required action:
- Check My Activity (or the PlayTime banner) to see if the status changed to In Progress, Pending, or Completed.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the status to update.
- If nothing changes after 24 hours, stop. Further steps will not track if the first step didn't register. Contact Support before investing more time.
The 42-day window for detailed help
If you can't tap an offer or game in My Activity to open its detail page, it means you started that offer more than 42 days ago. After 42 days, detailed tracking information is no longer available.
Always raise issues within 42 days of starting an offer so we have the data needed to help you.
Troubleshooting the My Activity view
- Missing offer in My Activity: look for a Load More button — some entries may be hidden below. Scroll fully; statuses are grouped (In Progress, Pending, Expired, Completed).
- Can't tap an offer to see details: the offer is older than 42 days. Detailed information is no longer accessible.
- PlayTime offer missing: these never appear in My Activity by design — check the original banner you used to start it.
