Mystery Boxes are bonus rewards automatically granted to Mode Earn Club (MEC) members each month based on their plan. They contain $EARNM crypto rewards that vest over time and eventually unlock. This article covers how the MEC Mystery Box allocation works.

How Mystery Boxes are delivered
- Boxes are automatically added to your Mode Earn App account at the end of each month.
- You receive a push notification when new boxes arrive.
- No action required to claim — they appear in your Mystery Box inventory.
Timing considerations
Boxes are allocated at the end of each month. If you cancel mid-month, you don’t receive that month’s allocation. Plan your cancellation timing accordingly — if you’re close to the end of the month, waiting a few days lets you get the final month’s boxes.
Using your Mystery Boxes
Each Mystery Box contains a variable amount of $EARNM crypto. To reveal and access your $EARNM:
- Open the Mode Earn App.
- Go to the Redeem tab.
- Tap the $EARNM banner to open the Mystery Box section.
- Choose how many boxes to reveal.
- Confirm the reveal.

$EARNM vesting
$EARNM from Mystery Boxes vests over time. You cannot immediately cash out the full amount — vesting rules apply. For full vesting details, see the EARN’M category.
Cancellation and your existing Mystery Boxes
If you cancel MEC:
- Mystery Boxes already added to your account stay with you.
- $EARNM already vested is yours.
- You stop receiving new monthly allocations after the cancellation takes effect.
