Once your $EARNM is ready to withdraw, you need to pick a destination: either a crypto exchange or a self-custody wallet. This article helps you decide.
Quick decision guide
- Want to sell your $EARNM for dollars or other currencies? Use an exchange. Exchanges let you trade $EARNM for USD, USDT, EUR, and other currencies.
- Want to hold your $EARNM in a wallet you fully control? Use MetaMask. Self-custody means only you control the keys — but if you lose the keys, the funds are gone.
- Unsure? Start with an exchange. You can always move $EARNM from an exchange to a self-custody wallet later.
Supported exchanges
Mode supports three exchanges for $EARNM withdrawal. The exchanges available to you depend on your country — open the Mode Earn App cashout screen to see which are supported in your region. [VERIFY current exchange list with product team.]
Gate.io

- Visit Gate.io
MEXC
- Lower trading fees than many competitors.
- Strong mobile app.
- Visit MEXC
BitGet
- User-friendly interface, good for beginners.
- Reliable customer support.
- Visit BitGet
Self-custody option: MetaMask
If no exchanges are available in your region, or you prefer to control your own keys, you can withdraw to MetaMask on the Polygon network. See How to withdraw $EARNM to MetaMask for step-by-step instructions.
What about fees?
- Exchange fees: vary by exchange and by the currency pair you trade into (typically 0.1–0.5% per trade).
- Network fee from Mode: charged in Mode points when you initiate the cashout — the Mode Earn App shows the exact point cost before you confirm.
- MetaMask Polygon fee: essentially free (a fraction of a cent in POL).
The honest short answer
For most users, the choice between the three supported exchanges does not matter much. They are all reputable and will get your $EARNM to where you want it. Pick the one with the cleanest interface for you and move on.
