When you reveal a Mystery Box, the $EARNM inside unlocks on a 12-month vesting schedule. This article explains how the schedule works and what your options are.
The unlock schedule

A worked example
Say your Mystery Box contains 5,000 $EARNM.
- Right after reveal: 10% is available — that is 500 $EARNM you can cash out immediately.
- After 6 months: 50% is available — 2,500 $EARNM total available to cash out.
- After 12 months: 100% is available — the full 5,000 $EARNM.
What happens if you cash out early
You can cash out at any time, but you only receive the vested portion. The unvested remainder is forfeited and redistributed to the community through future Mystery Boxes — so those coins may eventually come back to you or other users.
