If you want to cancel your Mode Earn Club (MEC) subscription, this article walks through three methods. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep MEC benefits until then.
Before you cancel
A few things to know:
- You keep current-period benefits until the end of your paid billing cycle.
- You keep Mystery Boxes already in your account and any $EARNM already vested.
- You stop receiving new monthly Mystery Boxes after cancellation takes effect.

Method 1: In-app via My Mode
- Open the Mode Earn App on your device.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top-right corner.
- In the My Mode section, select the banner showing your Plan & Benefits.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Method 2: In-app via Settings
- Open the Mode Earn App.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Manage Earn Club Account.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Method 3: Via website
For MEC Max (web-based subscription) or if you prefer the website:
- Visit the Mode Subscription page on the Mode Mobile website.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Enter your email address.
- Confirm the cancellation.
After cancellation
- You receive a cancellation confirmation email.
- Your MEC benefits remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- After that date, your account reverts to the basic (free) plan.
- You keep all points, Mystery Boxes, and vested $EARNM accumulated during your MEC membership.
Changing your mind
If you cancel but change your mind before the end of the billing period, you can resubscribe through the same methods above. If you resubscribe before the cancellation takes effect, your plan continues uninterrupted.

- Make sure you’re signed into the correct Mode Earn account (the one tied to the MEC subscription).
- Update the Mode Earn App to the latest version — older versions may not have the cancel option.
