Trial period
Who can start a trial?
- Users in eligible countries can access a free one-week trial of Mode Earn Club.
- No payment information is required to start the trial.

What benefits do trial users get?
- Enhanced earning rates: 50% more points than non-subscribers.
- VIP Customer Support: priority assistance during the trial.
Some benefits (SIM Kit, $40 shares, $5 cashback, Mystery Boxes, sweepstakes entries) only become available from your second paid membership month, not during the trial.
What happens at the end of the trial?
- You’re prompted to either upgrade to a paid MEC Lite plan or decline and return to the basic (free) plan.
- If you decline: you keep all regular points earned during the trial, but lose the 50% bonus points.
- If you upgrade: full MEC benefits activate for your chosen plan.
Payment methods
Standard payment
- Subscriptions can be paid using any valid credit, debit, or prepaid card via Stripe.
- Stripe is Mode’s third-party payment processor.
- Security: Mode does not directly store or access your bank information. Stripe handles secure processing.
Using Mode points (US only)
Your first month of MEC membership can be paid using Mode Earn App points. Requirements:
- US users only.
- You must provide a valid payment method for future automatic renewals.
Auto-renewal
- MEC subscriptions auto-renew monthly (or as per your chosen plan).
- If your first month was paid with points, the second month charges the connected payment method.
- Ensure your card has sufficient funds for renewal (equivalent of at least $5 USD).

Disconnecting your card
- You can disconnect your credit card by managing your Stripe connection through your bank’s dashboard or by submitting a request via Stripe Support.
- Disconnecting your card prevents future payments, and your MEC benefits end at the close of the current billing period.
How transactions appear on your statement
Transactions show as “Mode Earn Club” or “Mode” on your statement.
Viewing your MEC earning bonuses
To see your bonus earning activity:
- Tap your point balance in the app header.
- You can view:
- Current bonus earning rate.
- Log of earning activities.
- MEC bonus points earned.

Not eligible: Check-In Streak points, standard Daily Missions, and referral bonuses earn at their standard rates.

Refund policy
- Subscriptions are generally non-refundable under standard Earn Club Terms and Conditions.
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: applies to quarterly and yearly MEC Lite subscriptions purchased directly through the app.

- Open your profile in the Mode Earn App.
- Tap the Earn Club banner.
