Revealing Special Mystery Boxes on the EARN’M dApp

Most Mystery Boxes can be revealed directly in the Mode Earn App. You only need to reveal on the EARN’M dApp if you received a Mystery Box code outside the app — for example from a partner promotion, a giveaway, or an external event. This article walks through the dApp reveal process.

When to use the dApp reveal flow

Use this process only if:

  • You received a Mystery Box code from a source outside the Mode Earn App, and
  • The code does not appear in the app’s Redeem tab automatically.

What you need

  • The Mystery Box code you received.
  • The email address linked to your Mode Earn App account.
  • Some $POL in your wallet to cover blockchain transaction fees.

Step 1: Connect to the EARN’M dApp

  1. Go to app.earnm.com.
  2. Click Connect with Email.
  3. Enter the email address you use on the Mode Earn App (use the same email to ensure the reveal is linked to your account).

Step 2: Copy your wallet address

  1. Click the wallet icon in the top right of the dApp.
  2. Click the wallet address to copy it.

Step 3: Add $POL to your wallet

$POL covers the Polygon network transaction fee. You have two ways to get it:

Option A: Buy $POL on an exchange and send it to your dApp wallet

Create an account on a crypto exchange that supports $POL, buy some, and send it to the wallet address you copied in Step 2.

Option B: Buy $POL through MetaMask

Set up a MetaMask wallet with the Polygon network, buy $POL in MetaMask, and send it to your dApp wallet address. For the full walkthrough, see the video How to buy $POL on MetaMask to reveal your Mystery Boxes, linked from the dApp help.

Step 4: Reveal the code

  1. In the EARN’M dApp, click Reveal Mystery Box Code.
  2. Enter your code.
  3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
  4. Wait for the reveal to complete. This usually takes a few minutes but can take up to several hours during heavy Polygon network traffic.

Once the reveal completes, your Mystery Box contents appear on the dApp dashboard with the appropriate rarity and $EARNM amount. The 12-month vesting clock starts at reveal.
