If you notice that your game earnings have switched from a per-minute basis to a per-level basis, it usually means you have been flagged or banned by our games partner, Adjoe. This article explains why this happens and what to do next.
How to tell if you have been banned
The most common sign is a change in how you earn:
- Normal earning: points credit every minute (or every few minutes) of gameplay.
- After a ban: points credit only when you complete levels or milestones — typically resulting in slower earnings and lower total rewards.
You can still earn points while flagged, but at a reduced rate.
Common reasons for an Adjoe ban
Adjoe flags accounts for activity that suggests the gameplay is not genuine. The most common triggers are:
- App Usage Permission not granted. Without this permission, Adjoe cannot verify that you are actually playing, so it cannot reward per-minute gameplay.
- VPN use. Playing through a VPN is treated as suspicious activity because it obscures location.
- Emulator use. Playing on a computer emulator rather than a real mobile device.
- Multiple accounts. Operating more than one Mode Earn App account violates the terms of service.
If you believe the ban is a mistake
If none of the above apply to your situation, the ban may be incorrect and can potentially be reversed. To appeal:
- Open the Mode Earn App.
- Go to Settings → Ask for Support.
- Explain that your game earnings changed from per-minute to per-level.
- Include as much detail as possible: when the change happened, which games you play, and a screenshot if available.
The Support team reviews each case individually and works with Adjoe to reverse incorrect bans where possible.
How to avoid being flagged
- Grant App Usage Permission during setup and do not revoke it.
- Turn off any VPN before playing games for Mode.
- Play on a physical mobile device, not an emulator.
- Maintain only one Mode Earn App account.
