Your Time Bank determines how many minutes of music earning you have available. Every minute you listen decreases the bank; when it hits zero, you can still listen but will not earn points. This article explains how the Time Bank works and how to keep it full.
How the Time Bank works
The Time Bank stores your available music earning minutes:
- You earn points as long as you have time in your bank.
- Listening to music decreases the time remaining.
- When the bank is empty, music continues playing but point earning pauses.
You can see your current Time Bank minutes in the Earning Bar at the top of the app.
How to add more time to your bank
Daily reset
You start each day with a set amount of time automatically added to your bank. This is the base amount for consistent daily listening.
Boosters
Complete Boosters (games, offers, surveys, videos, etc.) to add extra minutes to your Time Bank. Each type of Booster adds a different amount — larger Boosters typically add more time.
The Time Bank has a maximum cap
Your Time Bank has an upper limit. Once you reach this cap, you must use some of your stored time before you can add more. Boosters completed while your bank is at cap do not increase your stored time further.
If you notice Boosters not adding time, check whether your Time Bank is at its cap.
If music earnings seem to have stopped
The most common cause is an empty Time Bank. Check:
- Your current Time Bank minutes in the Earning Bar.
- Whether you completed any Boosters recently to refill.
- Whether your daily reset has happened (resets occur at midnight local time).
Remember that your earning rate itself never changes — see Understanding Your Music Earning Rate.
