The Mode Earn Phone works with a wide range of cellular carriers, but carrier compatibility depends on which frequency bands your provider uses. This article covers supported regions, the frequency bands the phone supports, and how to confirm your carrier works.
Supported frequency bands
The Mode Earn Phone supports these frequency bands:
- GSM: 850 / 1900
- 3G UMTS: 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
- 4G LTE: B2 / 4 / 5 / 12 / 17 / 66
Your carrier must operate on at least some of these bands for the phone to work with their network.
Compatible networks in North America
- United States and Canada: the Mode Earn Phone supports most major carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T, Metro by T-Mobile, Mint Mobile, and their prepaid/MVNO equivalents.
- Before purchasing a SIM card, verify that your specific carrier’s network bands match those supported by the Mode Earn Phone.
Compatible networks in Central and South America
- Certain carriers in Central and South America are compatible.
- Network compatibility may vary by country and frequency band.
- Users should check with their carrier to confirm coverage before use.
Carriers to verify before purchase
Not all carriers work with the Mode Earn Phone. Confirm compatibility before committing to a carrier:
- Visit your carrier’s official support website.
- Look up their supported frequency bands.
- Compare against the Mode Earn Phone’s supported bands listed above.
- If any 4G LTE band matches (B2, 4, 5, 12, 17, or 66), the phone should work on their 4G network.
You can also use a frequency checker tool to automate this comparison.
Confirming your phone’s IMEI is recognized
Some carriers (particularly Metro by T-Mobile) require you to register your device’s IMEI before the SIM card works. Find your IMEI in Settings → About Phone → IMEI Information.
For specific Metro by T-Mobile setup, see How to Use a Metro by T-Mobile SIM Card with the Mode Earn Phone.
