If you revealed a Mystery Box and it has not appeared in your dApp dashboard within 12 hours, this article shows you how to check the status on the Polygon blockchain yourself and decide when to contact Support.
First: how long should it actually take?
- Under 5 minutes: typical reveal time. Your boxes should show on the dApp dashboard within a few minutes.
- Up to 12 hours: possible during heavy Polygon network traffic. Refresh the dApp periodically.
- More than 12 hours: indicates something may have gone wrong. Follow the steps below to check.
Step 1: Find your wallet address
- Sign in to the EARN’M dApp at app.earnm.com with the wallet you used for the reveal.
- Find the short wallet address at the top of the screen (it starts with
0x). - Click the shortened address to reveal the full wallet address, then copy it.
Step 2: Look up your wallet on Polygonscan
Polygonscan is a public blockchain explorer for Polygon. You can see every transaction in your wallet there.
- Go to polygonscan.com.
- Paste your wallet address into the search bar.
- The wallet activity page opens.
Step 3: Filter for Mystery Boxes
Mystery Boxes are NFTs (non-fungible tokens), so you can filter your wallet activity to show only NFT-related transactions.
- On the wallet page, click the NFT Transfers tab or filter chip.
- Look for transactions that show six consecutive NFT lines labeled NFT#1 through NFT#6.
A single Mystery Box reveal always shows as six lines because Mystery Boxes have six rarity tiers. Each line shows how many boxes of that tier you received. Empty lines mean no boxes were received at that tier.
Step 4: Interpret what you see
If the reveal transaction appears on Polygonscan
Your Mystery Boxes were successfully issued on the blockchain. If they are not yet showing in your dApp dashboard:
- Refresh the dApp.
- Sign out and sign back in.
- Wait up to 12 hours total from the reveal time.
If the reveal transaction does NOT appear after 12 hours
Something went wrong with the reveal. Contact Support through Settings → Ask for Support in the Mode Earn App and include:
- The wallet address you used for the reveal.
- The approximate time of the reveal.
- The Mystery Box code (if you revealed from a code on the dApp) or the number of boxes you attempted to reveal in the app.
If the reveal failed
Failed reveals are automatically detected by the Mode Earn App. You receive a free reveal credit to use on your next reveal attempt — your points are not refunded because they are replaced by the free credit. See What Happens if My Mystery Box Reveal Fails?
How to hover for transaction times
On Polygonscan, hover over the “X days ago” timestamp to see the exact date and time of each transaction. This helps if you had several reveals and want to identify which transaction corresponds to which reveal.
