- Earned through engagement. You earn points by listening to music, completing offers, playing games, watching videos, reading news, taking surveys, and more.

- Purpose. Points reward the time, attention, and data you contribute to the platform.
How points are managed

Points are managed using blockchain-based technology. This provides security, transparency, and efficient tracking of your balance and transactions.

- You maintain control over your personal data.
- Your points are tied to your account and protected by the security features Mode provides (facial verification before redemption, account verification, etc.).
How to check your point balance
- Open the Mode Earn App.
- Look at the Earning Bar at the top of the app — your current total is displayed.
- Tap your points total to open your Wallet and see:
- Full point history (all earning and redemption transactions).
- Detailed breakdown of earnings by activity.
- Redemption history and codes.

Points and app updates
Mode frequently updates the app to add features, refine rewards, and fix bugs. Here's what to know about how updates affect points:
- Your points are always safe. App updates never affect your earned points — your balance remains in your account across every update.
- Goals may reset. Some updates may reset goals you've set within the app (for example, if you'd set a specific redemption target). This is cosmetic only — it doesn't affect your actual points.
- Re-setting a reset goal: open the Redeem tab, select the reward you're saving toward, and tap Set as goal.
Point expiration
