Surveys offer some of the highest point payouts in the Mode Earn App. This article covers where to find surveys, the partners we work with, and how to earn consistently even when you do not qualify for every survey.
Where to find surveys
Surveys are available in three places:
- High Payout Boosters — go to the Boosters tab and look in the High Payout section.
- Music tab — surveys appear alongside News articles.
- Surveys Widget — a dedicated widget on the Home screen.
Our survey partners
Mode partners with three survey providers to give you a diverse selection:
- CPX
- InBrain
- TapResearch
Surveys Widget color coding
The Surveys Widget uses color to identify the partner:
- Turquoise — CPX surveys.
- Yellow — InBrain surveys.
- TapResearch surveys are not displayed directly through the widget — access those through the Boosters tab or Music tab.
Ways to earn points from surveys
Initial profile bonus
When you first engage with a survey partner, you are asked for basic demographic information (age, location, household, etc.). Providing this information earns a small bonus and helps the partner match you with relevant surveys going forward.
Completing main surveys
Main surveys pay the largest rewards. The exact points depend on survey length and how well your profile matches the survey’s criteria — typically longer or more specialized surveys pay more.
Disqualification partial reward
Even if you start a survey and get disqualified partway through, many partners give you a small partial reward as appreciation for your time. This means survey participation is rarely a complete waste even when you don’t complete the full survey.
Tips for maximizing survey earnings
- Complete the initial profile fully and honestly. Accurate info means better matching to surveys you can complete.
- Take surveys regularly. Partners often prioritize active users for higher-paying opportunities.
- Try multiple partners. Different partners have different survey inventories — check all three regularly.
- Keep your profile updated. Life changes (new job, move, family changes) affect what surveys you qualify for.
