1 - How to Reveal Your Mystery Boxes From the Mode Earn App

Checking for Available Mystery Boxes:

  • A banner will appear on the redemption page when Mystery Boxes are available.
  • The banner will show how many Mystery Boxes you can reveal.

Revealing Your Mystery Boxes:

  • Click the banner to access the reveal page.
  • Choose the desired Mystery Box package based on your points.
  • Note: There’s a small transaction fee to cover blockchain costs, but Mode covers most of the fees as a bonus.

Confirmation Process:

  • For your first reveal within 7 days, you'll receive a confirmation code via email.
  • Enter the code promptly to avoid session timeouts.
  • The confirmation process takes about a minute. Keep the app open during this time.

Troubleshooting:

  • If you encounter a loading issue, close the app and clear its storage.
  • We’re working on a fix for this issue.

After Revealing:

  • You’ll receive an email with a link to the EARN’M dashboard.
  • Check the dashboard for your revealed Mystery Box details. This may take a few minutes or up to a day.

Important: If any issues arise, we'll notify you, and no points or Mystery Boxes will be deducted.

2 - On the EARN’M dApp using Mystery Box Codes:

  1. Connect Your Crypto Wallet: Connect your crypto wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to the EARN’M dApp. Create a MetaMask wallet if you don't have one.
  2. Ensure Sufficient POL: Make sure your wallet has at least 3 POL coins to cover transaction fees.
  3. Reveal Mystery Box Code: Click "Reveal Mystery Box Code" and enter your code. Wait for validation (up to 1 minute).
  4. Confirm Transaction: Confirm the transaction on your crypto wallet using your POL coins.
  5. Wait for Revelation: The process can take a few hours depending on network traffic. Leave the app running in the background.
  6. Success Message: Upon successful revelation, you'll see your Mystery Box rarities.

Important Notes:

  • Retry with a different code if you encounter errors.
  • Allow up to 8 hours for rarity display in case of network delays.
  • Vesting Period Begins: A 180-day vesting period starts after revelation, gradually unlocking the value of your $EARNM coins.
